Join Rogue Valley Farm to School this summer as we dive into food production, preparation, and exploration! Campers will have the opportunity to work with staff in the kitchen and on the farm, learning new culinary skills along the way. This is a great opportunity for kids who are curious about cooking and excited to grow their skills in the kitchen! During the week, campers will learn how to prepare healthy, delicious meals from scratch, inspired by foods from cultures around the world. Topics covered will include knife skills, kitchen and food safety, measurement, reading recipes, and international cooking techniques. Campers will prepare and try new cuisines that are sure to delight the senses and inspire the soul!

Camp will take place Monday & Tuesday at the Co-op Community Classroom and Wednesday & Thursday at the Farm at SOU. Please send your child with a substantial snack each day. Lunch will be provided, prepared hands-on by the campers! Dietary restrictions will be accommodated.

Cooking is a fantastic way for kids to learn independence, motor skills, following directions, healthy eating habits - and the universal joy of sharing and eating food!
